PAUL’S SALVATION WAS FOR YOU.

Have you ever thought that you were beyond redemption? Like you had done so much wrong, you thought to yourself that even God was done with you and couldn’t save you? Have a seat, let’s talk.

You remember the Apostle Paul (formerly known as Saul)? Yeah, that guy. His salvation story (in Acts 9) is a very peculiar one; I mean why did God save a man like Him?

Meanwhile, Saul was uttering threats with every breath and was eager to kill the Lord’s followers…
Acts of the Apostles 9:1 NLT

And God decided to save him?

What does this say about God?

But I obtained mercy for the reason that in me, as the foremost [of sinners], Jesus Christ might show forth and display all His perfect long-suffering and patience for an example to [encourage] those who would thereafter believe on Him for [the gaining of] eternal life.

1 Timothy 1:16 AMPC

So you see, God had you in mind when He chose Paul and saved him. Think about it; dude’s pre-conversion life was a mess; one characterised by unbelief, mockery of God and relentless persecution of the body of Christ (see Acts 9:1). Yet God’s mercy and patience found Him.

The point of Paul’s conversion happening the way it did, is to make Christ’s incredible patience clear to you.

It was for your sake that Paul received salvation when and how he did; to display God’s patience, lest you lose heart, or think you’ve gone too far, beyond redemption; or that God really can’t save you, or your loved ones cannot be converted suddenly or unexpectedly by the grace of God.
Know this: Nobody is beyond redemption. 😊

Love,

Debss❤
